YOUR PRESENCE

When she lies in the meadow, looking up to the Heavens,
She sees the clouds form their unusual shape,
And feel the gestures of the breeze relieve her sorrow.
She closes her eyes, opens her heart,
And lets her soul overcome her earthly body.
And she said, with a gentle sigh,
"I am not worthy to be in Your presence."

When she gives thanks and praise Your holy name,
She realizes that she is only but sin and shame,
Born to follow her human instinct.
But if she has You, she can fight that instinct
And do things she never dreamed she could do.
And so she says, in prayer, to the complete uttermost,
"I am not worthy to be in Your presence."

Her dear Heavenly Father,
She did not know how unfulfilled her heart was
Until it was consumed with Your love.
Her dear Precious Savior,
She did not know how empty her soul was
Until it was filled with Your presence.
