YESTERDAY FRIENDS

She sits here at home,
Being all alone.
Wishing he had a true friend,
But now his personal life has come to an end.

He doesn't know why,
But now he finds himself saying goodbye
To friends he once had,
They are all going their separate ways and this is bad.

He guesses society hit,
And now they are all losing it.
He would rather be smothered
Than lose friends that are like brothers.

He once was full and complete,
Now he is filled nothing but emptiness.
If only he had the knowledge to compete,
He just may once again be filled with happiness.

But until that day comes,
He will never know the ones
Who can fill the shoes of these brotherly friends
And have their friendships never ever end.
