WHEN THEY GROW OLDER
When they grow older,
She will buy two rocking chairs.
That they can sit in on the porch
& Rock away their cares.
They can talk of days gone by,
When they worked side by side.
Then when night came down,
They still in the Lord could safely abide.
They can hold each other's hand,
As they think of the years,
When sorrow would fill their hearts,
& The Lord wiped away their tears.
They can smile & laugh together,
Over the quarrels of the past.
But, when they knelt in prayer,
They knew the feeling wouldn't last.
O, the precious memories, her love,
Of the days gone by forever.
But, their love, nothing can sever!
