WHAT WILL SHE BE
When she grows up she wants to be
Her little girl said to her
A ballerina or a vet
She hasn't made her choice quite yet
She may want to be a superstar
And have a TV in her car
She may want to teach at school
Or be a rockstar, that is cool
A doctor may suit her fine
Or a tester of the finest wine
A secretary that types all day
What a fun way to earn her pay
She wants to graduate and go to college
She could be a seeker of lots of knowledge
She can't wait until she's out of school
So she can live by her own rule
She looks at her and she laughs inside
Reciting these words that she has cried
She wants to be all the things she did
But now she would just like to be a kid.
