WHAT IS COLOR

She tries to imagine a world of color,
In a world that is all black.
Her life seems so much duller,
And there is no turning back.

Why was she born this way,
With eyes that will never see.
The sunshine of every day,
Is all black to her.

Try to imagine a life,
Where you live every day,
Without seeing your wife,
Or your child ever play.

She feels their faces,
Almost all the time.
But there are still empty spaces,
It's not fair, she's done no crime.

She can't imagine red,
Or a sea of blue.
This wonder she'll always dread,
But there is nothing she can do.
