TRIBUTE TO A FALLEN FIREMAN

He was a dedicated fireman
He answered every call.
It didn't seem to matter
If the fires were big or small.

He always had a smile for them
And a few kind words to say.
He wishes that he could tell him
How much he's missed today.

His boots are standing empty
His coat hangs on a peg
His helmet now sits on a shelf
And not upon his head.

His friends and family miss him
They've all had tears to shed.
But, his friend was a fireman
They mourn their fallen dead.
