TO HER MOTHER

She has always loved her faithful friends,
And would not exchange one for another;
But not one of her living friends,
Can take the place of her blessed mother

She will help her solve life's problems,
And always helps her when in need;
When she is about to fail in life,
She will then help her succeed.

When life's troubles hover o'er her,
And the way seems dark and drear;
Then she turns for someone's help,
And always find her mother near.

She has already been so young and cheerful,
Telling jokes to everyone.
She really seems more like her sister,
As they laugh and have their fun.
