It's been a year
Since it occurred
She was loving him
He was holding her
They were one
Together at last
Since then
A year has passed
She never wanted
To let him go
He knew she would
Always love him so
In a year
A lot has occurred
She's still loving him
He's not holding her
When it ended
She didn't know what to do
He went out
And found someone new
They were one
Now they're apart
He has a new love
