THE WISH

She wishes that she could turn herself
Into a magic star--

And to every home in America
She would bring peace and love.

So that she would no longer have to see
Little innocent children hurt and cry.

There would be more broken hearts
No more lives torn away--

For with her magic she would travel worldwide
And the hearts of every man she would touch.

With her magic she would manage to make all
Men see--
That to love their mothers is the greatest
Gift a dad could give to his children.

Yes, she wishes that she could be that magic star
For throughout the world every heart she would touch--

And children of all ages would laugh instead of cry--
And families would be happy, instead of sad--
And in every home there would
Be Love, Love, Love.
