THE SEASONS
The great Northwoods, in winter--
A wonderland of snow,
Then spring appears in April
And soft breezes begin to blow.
When summer is upon them,
And flowers are in bloom--
The days are long and very warm
But they end too soon.
Leaves flutter downward,
And colors are golden--
Fall arrives in the Northwoods
And they are beholden to their creator.
They knew winter is approaching,
When snowflakes appear,
And here in the great Northwoods--
It's always their favorite time of year.
