THE PIERCED EAR OF THE SOUL

The pierced ear of the soul,
Is one of honor and pride,
Understanding that centuries ago,
Love was crucified.
The pierced ear has been in existence,
For many, many years,
During the days of the slaves,
And their continuing tears.
This left ear tells all,
That she is a slave of the Son,
Knowing that her spot upstairs,
Is already finished and done.
She belongs to Love now,
With this hole in her ear.
Promising to honor Him,
Every hour and day of the year.
Now she can stand tall against Satan,
Courageous and bold,
'Cause she has Love on her side,
And her proof is
The pierced ear of the soul.
