THE MARRIAGE

Today his friends are married,
In all their happy bliss.
But no longer are they mere lovers,
To share a lover's kiss.

For they've started out on life,
It's a trial that has few signs,
No east nor south nor west or north,
To cloud up their clear young minds.

Now many roads will lead you astray,
And some may say dead end.
But when it seems that you are lost
Remembering in each other you have a friend.

Follow your tracks, repeat your course,
See where you went astray.
Never say there is no chance for them,
Just wait another day.

For all days cannot bring rain,
The sun always has to shine.
Just stop and get your bearing,
The ways in each other you will find.
