THE GREATEST GIFT

Christmas is a time of joy--and as the
Snowflakes fall.
Drifts abound around their home--Ohh! the
Beauty of it all.
The night is crisp the stars do shine--the
Moon it is so bright.
Sending rays across the snow--that glisten
In the light.
They all are gathered 'round the tree--so
Trimmed and standing tall.
With lights that twinkle on and off--with
Ribbons Oh! so bright.
They read the story of His birth--and sing
"O Holy Night."
This is the night that Love was born
So many years ago.
A Savior came to save the world--because
He loved them so.
The smell of turkey roasting still--and
Sight of pumpkin pie.
Makes it hard to watch their diet--no matter
How they try.
The gifts thru life that they receive--be
They big or small.
His birth to them that Holy Night--was
The greatest gift of all.
