THE GIFT

How do you describe emotions that are more powerful than life, it seems?
They fantasize about love and lusts, it even fills their dreams.
Wanting to hold someone near is a natural part of their being.
Embracing and caressing, and then an urgent needing.
The touch of soft, warm lips, two bodies filled with desire.
Love, with all its ecstasy, will only quench the fire.
Warm skin in heated passion, perspiration flows.
The need is getting stronger, anticipation grows.
Bodies entwined together, as if they were one.
Temperatures rising higher, hot enough to warm the sun.
Then the moment comes, an explosion of delight;
There's nothing quite so wonderful, two hearts and minds in flight.
And even when it's over, the feelings still remain;
And their minds are filled with thoughts of doing it again.
