THE DOORS OF LIFE

Every time it seems,
Life's doors are opened to her wide,
A wind comes up and blows them shut,
And she's left locked outside.

She has no key to get her in,
No matter how many she may try.
She's asked around, and no one knows,
The answer of the reason why.

She's knocked several times,
But no one has let her in.
She's even tried to kick them open,
They never let her win.

She feels so defeated,
And, she's really sick of crying.
She feels like giving up,
But, she's not ready to stop trying.
