THE DEWDROP
The dewdrop glistens in the morning sun,
Sparkling like all eternity.
The dewdrop reflects her daydreams,
Knowing where she wants to be.
She craves to be in her lover's arms,
Not separated by the miles.
The dewdrop knows,
But cannot give her her dreams
So as it falls from its rich green home,
It seems to cry for her
It weeps for her shattered dreams,
If only they could be.
