THE DARK MAN

Night comes quickly, and nearing dusk she is weak.
She can not dance with this dark man.

She travels to her memories and finds that old friends are enemies.
She shall not dance with this dark man.

She has seen the dark stranger, but yet he is not.
She will not dance with this dark man.

Her life has been lived with this turn,
But now he has turned against her.
She can not dance with this dark man.

He beckons her, but she can not submit.
She shall not dance with this dark man.

He will return, yet he never leaves.
She will not dance with this dark man.

Why must she fight this beloved twin?
She can not, she shall not, she will not dance with this dark man.
