THE BLUEBIRD

Once she saw a bird,
And it was blue;
She looked out the window,
And away he flew!

Once she saw a bird,
And it flew to the garden;
He saw a fat worm,
And said, "Oh, I beg your pardon!"

Once she saw a bird,
And it saw a mole;
He flew to a wire line,
And sat on a pole.

Once she saw a bird,
And it flew to a tree,
He heard a buzz, buzz,
And met up a bee!

Once she saw a bird,
Sploshing in the brook;
He flew to a branch,
And got in his nook.

Once she saw a bird,
And he saw her;
She went outside
And up into his tree!
