They say the black woman is beautiful; but,
You can't prove that by her. You see, she's been
Blinded by the rows of blonde heads in front of
Her.

They say be proud of your short, brown hair,
Dark-skin, and chocolate-colored eyes. She would be,
If their long, blond hair, milky-white-skin,
And sky-blue eyes; weren't smirking at her.

They say brown skin is exotic and mystical,
Yeah, well, she'd rather be plain and beautiful.
