THE ANGRY TIGER
They lost their way somehow somewhere
Along life's path they cannot share
The things in life, so precious are
Like sands of time off and afar
Perhaps some day a smile will crease
Her crimson lips, a frown will cease
And all that anger that sleeps inside
Will leave her heart before she dies.
She does not know the reason being
But there is no life without her freeing
The angry tiger deep inside,
So they can live again with pride
She longs to see the girl she knew
She would laugh and smile or she could too
For until that angry tiger rests
Her time is lost and hers is less
Each day becomes beyond repair
And she is left but with despair.
