THAT FACE

The years pass by, and time goes on...
As she looks to the days now gone
She sees a face, which reappears.
That Face, once touching, now brings tears.

That Face she knew not long ago,
For she had thought her love was so.
She now goes back where she once was
And here her memory tells of love.

She thinks about the time once shared,
The way her showed her how he cared,
Those days are gone, so far away.
But maybe she will find a way
To bring her heart another face
That puts the love back into place.
