SUNSET

Barefoot with buckets
Flying by the sea,
She was eight, he was nearly three.
Sand castles were built,
Seashells collected,
Little crabs were explored
While hungry birds, they fed.
The sky so blue, a rainbow there, too!
So much for them to do,
Their little world so big,
A wonder to behold.
Soon the sun was setting
Sand castles become a challenge
And crabs do pinch, ooh!
Only Love knew
The sun was not setting too soon
For those two.
And of course,
Mom knew, too!
