To be awakened at first morning light
Brings heartfelt pleasure and delight.
With the sound of a warm summer rain
The gentle drops touching the window pane
Giving to the flowers a cool drink to survive
As the parched Earth again comes alive
For this cooling of the hot hot days
Is just one of nature's ways--
