It makes the yard a lovely place--
A lawn of drifted white,
Awaiting for the eye to trace
The winking diamonds, blinking bright.
And as it falls upon the earth
In feathery, pristine flakes,
It allows unsightliness rebirth
As of this beauty it partakes.
Would she, for only half a year
And though her habits are disrupted.
Could overnight truly appear
So beauteously, wonderously uncorrupted!
