SILENT PRAYER
Alone, she stands in the still of night
Far beyond the whispers they rely upon light
Awaiting beyond the horizon through darkened skies she lays
Kneeling down on nature's billow on her knees she starts to pray
Unspoken of those words that seem to never come about
With sudden reigns she runs, through those stormy tears of drought
Uncertain of thought, slipping away with drastic blunder
Clearing the path to which her life solemnly crawls under
Darkened scales uplift her, broken hearts unfold
With lantern in before thee, those memories are left to hold
As without any determination what could allow her to walk the stairs
Each step she takes with grace to thee who breaks this silent prayer
