SHE WANTS TO BE LOVED

She's alone and lonely and it's sad to say,
That she's had no good luck pass her way.
She feels as though life has passed her by,
A stranger on the street won't even say Hi.
Maybe it's because of the color of her skin,
Could that really be why, she doesn't fit in?
She hopes not because that would make her sad,
Maybe even a little mad.
That someone could just stand by and judge,
And for those that listen and watch, you better beware because she's holding a grudge.
They all need to stop because it's just not right,
All of their ancestors had to fight,
To make their world a better place,
So, it's time someone says this to your face,
As they stand here face to face.
She asks you to love her, no matter what's her race.
