SHE TOUCHED A STAR

She touched a star and sparkles fell
Across the sky in showers bright,
And spilled in cascades like the dreams
You bring her heart each night.

She touched a star and realizes
Arose from out a starlit sea
Of tiny silver bells that chimed
When you would speak to her.

She touched a star. The world stood still
To bring you here to her once more,
To let them live through the endless time
When you would speak to her.

He looked into that star and saw,
Reflected mystically it seems,
Your picture that portrayed for her
The answers to her dreams.

Now when she sits in pensive mood,
While thoughts betake themselves afar,
She finds that she subconsciously
Reaches up to touch a star.
