SHALLOW GRAVES

As they live their shallow lives; as they dig their
Shallow graves
They close their shallow minds, and they hide in
Darkened caves.

They know not where they're going, for they know
Not where they've been
They justify their wrongs; for they know not right
From sin.

In the names of rehabilitation, conformation,
Education, legislation, and liberation;
They practice nothing by intimidation.

Caught up in their skepticism, optimism,
Pessimism, escapism, and MEism;
They've lost their grip on realism.

They talk too loud, and listen too little.
Rather than building up; they whittle.
