SEASON'S GLORY

Fine bodies of the earth
Adorned in rich attire
Tall, slender, and stately they inspire
Their limbs they adorn
In the finest hues
Gems of rarest beauty for them to muse
A parade of jewels for every reason
Their summer attire shines
In emerald's richness
Arrayed in ruby, garnet, and topaz
Autumn shocks them
With winter's wind and snow
Comes a chill
But bodies dressed in diamonds
Brings a thrill! And at the thaw
How they're in awe as she does gleam
In rare tourmaline
Earth's beautiful wardrobe for all to see
Such richness and glory in a tree!
