RI'S SEASONAL WILDFLOWERS

In woodland trails from spring to fall,
She sees wildflowers, short and tall,
Rhode Island's Violet blooming too,
So shy and sweet, and velvet blue.

Pink Lady's Slippers peeking through,
And Dutchman's Breeches in plain view,
White Lady's Tresses nod at her,
And Buttercups, she too can see.

There's Trillium along the way,
And Queen Anne's Lace does gently sway,
Then Solomon's Seal caught her eye,
And Spiderworts she too did spy.

New England Asters in plain sight
The Evening Primrose, a delight!
These Wildflowers are but a few,
Of Nature's Treasures she can view.
