RETURNING HOME

She feels so lost and so betrayed
Why you had to turn her away,
She loved and lied for you
At times she almost died for you

Now, she's returning to her real home
Back to where she sprang from,
She doesn't know how long it will take
But she can never come back to you

It hurts so much to leave a few
Those she has learned to care about,
There are some who hold a place in her heart
Whose love she cannot live without

These all understand--she's sure
These have given their support and so much more,
Yet they feel the same way she does
She hopes they know she feels her losses

So this is "good bye" for now
Then again, maybe it will be forever,
But she will live on in all those hearts
And she will carry them always in her soul
