REQUIM FOR VICTORIA LUCAS

She dreamt a bright Sarcophagus
And you and her were twins
Side by side they lay
Though, truly, not the same.

She's imagined your likeness
Dark featured as herself.
Yet, looking at your photograph
She sees the girl next door.

No dream to your features
A pure and smiling face
Still, she saw something deeper,
Beyond the light facade.

Your writing paints a picture
Self portrait of the mind.
A poem for a picture
Reveals to her your soul.

A secret friend, a secret thought
And you and her are twins.
They share a darker soul
Though you did what she cannot.
