PRESSURE

So many deadlines, so many dates.
Sometimes she wonders, how much can she take?
Pressure and more, on her all the time.
And people sometimes wonder why she always whines.
She tries to please everyone, and they think it's not her best.
But with all this to remember, her life seems like a test.
She has to score a hundred or else it's "not like me."
On top of things she accomplishes, another she begins.
Compliments and words of praise are what she wants to hear.
But isn't everybody, she's noticed by her peers.
It may seem like she has it made, but she has problems, too.
Outside she will seem happy, but inside she's feeling blue.
She knows that she will not give up, she'll try harder than she is.
To meet her goals and watch her dreams come true, she knows she can.
