She can't seem to get any sleep tonight
From head to toe she's filled with fright
She doesn't know if what she's doing is right
Please hold her.
She needs time alone, she needs some space
It's too crowded here and she can't go any place
She just can't think, this is always the case
Please help her.
She needs someone to talk to, someone who cares
Someone with a couple of minutes to spare
Someone who'll promise to always be there
Please listen to her.
If you don't agree with thing she says and does
Perhaps you can have a different point of view
But at least hear her out, don't talk till she's through
Please understand her.
There are so many things she'd like to say
She just can't figure out the appropriate way
But don't get too jumpy, it will come one day
Please love her.
