PIECES OF YOU

She found a little peace today, nestled in her heart.
She wrapped it all around her and comfort did impart.
Gently it caressed her, her burden did depart.
If only for a moment, life was in his heart.

She felt the shattered pieces of her soul begin to mend.
Then came a spark of hopefulness that her life would start again.
For some time the pain devoured her, she was sure that life would end.
But the Lord said: "Peace I leave you. My peace to you I send."

She'll speak that passage daily, she'll trust what Love has said.
Become a shepherd for the Lord, walk with the flock He led.
She'll read her Bible fervently, within its leaves Love said;
To guard His word and keep it, ever faithful in His stead.
