PAIN II

Pain--
What a scary word,
Lonesome--
What a fearful feeling.

Yet try as one might,
Escaping is the heardest thing to do.
It is so comfrotable--
--So safe to be alone.

No one will hurt you,
For you don't let them near.
No one will help you,
For you push them away.

Why do they think Pain is such a bleak thing?
When everybody wants it in their lives--
To feel safe.
