OH, BEAUTIFUL FALL
The leaves plummet off the trees and turn the grass
Into a pool of spirits.
The sound of the leaves crunching when people
Walk is like a breaking of
A glass figurine on
A hard wooden
The pumpkin patch is a dazzling orange display of
Halloween comes near, like a distant dream of
She feels the cold air touch her peachy face,
And the warmth as she goes into the house and sits
She smells the burning leaves outside her window,
And the Thanksgiving dinner all ready to devour.
One thing that brings a smile to her face in autumn
Are the warm family gatherings.
Oh, Beautiful Fall.
