NEVER EVER SAY GOOD NIGHT

A sigh a tear she can't believe it's been a year.
Her laugh her smile it has been a while.
A memory a glance never got a chance.
Her kiss her touch they miss so much.
They watched her drift away they watched her hair turning gray.
Never thought she would die that day,
Never ever pass away.
Since then many have died,
But she never really cried.
Now that everything is said and done,
Their families are more like one.
There will be another,
Ever close to her Grandmother.
Now she stretches and turns off the light,
But never ever says good night.
