NATURE'S CHALLENGE

Surf crashing against jagged rocks,
Springing high into the air.
Imposing cliffs of stone, upright--
Indmitable.
The mighty walls--
Seem to laugh as the surf rushes against them
Turning titanic waves of water
Into millions of droplets
Falling
Back into the sea.

Wet cliffs glistening in the morning sun
Calling for a challenge--
Formidable walls
Daring a soul to climb.
But only the waves to answer to call.
Only the waves--
Smashing and pounding the cliff
Then falling
Back into the sea.
