NATURE

She too must pass through life's autumn of dying
A desolate period of heart--hurt and crying
Time has come to change the season's ending
Out the window heartaches will go flying.

Followed by winter in whose frostbitten hands
Her heart is frozen as the snow covered land
Man too must pass through the seasons Love sends
Comfort in the knowledge that everything ends.

That comes from knowing that Autumn time's
Sadness
Will be followed by Springtime of gladness.
