Great in posture, walks upright.

He goes quietly through the house,
Enemy of only a mouse.
Personality is profound,
Respects people he is around.

Relaxed, with almost endless purr,
Deserves to be addressed as "Sir."
Attractive eyes, studies, green;
His long gray fur he likes to preen.

They've shared life many a good year,
And each other proudly revere.
Soon he will be 16 years old;
Their friendship is worth more than gold.

Arrived when kitten, special gift,
His late aged mother's up lift!
Life's last link between Mom and him--
No finer cat on earth could be.
