LOST CHILD BEHIND THE MAN

Behind his blue eyes
And half smile
There is a child
Who wasn't a boy for
Just awhile.
Behind his tall muscular body
Is a gentle bruised heart
That deserves a new start.
He's anxious for the day
That he can freely play.
Behind the man
Is a lost child
Who shall someday become acquainted
With that unique young man.
