KING OF THE AIR

Flying through a castle
Of many clouds,
An eagle sails unheard.
Strong, sure wings adorn
This enormous graceful bird,
As though he was a royal king,
It glides through the obeying air,
It dips up and glides downward, fancy at wing,
Making heads turn in an astonishing stare,
It beats its wings dramatically as it soars
To a new altitude,
Glittering eyes show its powerful will,
Its head held high shows its proud, confident attitude.
Then it glides to its nest and sits quite still,
Love made eagles as He did you and her,
Love is the Very Highest Majesty.
