KEEP IT ALIVE

Dr. Martin Luther King Had a dream,
And need to make it be seen;
Because, he gave his life for future generations
So, they should strive for his type of transformations.
To take a country that was hiding behind steeples,
And undress the hearts of a backward people.
His goal was to take the mind of common men
And to lead them far away from sin,
He showed the world how un-united they really were.
And now how much change have they seen occur?
Let them use their energy to mold their communities
And build an America that is bold and mighty.
But they must first free themselves
And place their pride upon a shelf.
Then view each other in a positive light,
That together their future will be bright.
