IN MEMORY II

It happened so suddenly
There were no good-byes
And she wishes she were there
To wipe the tears from your eyes

To say the last I love you
That she never got to say
To once more give your
Cheek a kiss, and then
Be on her way.

Because although she misses
You, here she feels no pain
The memories of sadness
No longer remain.

For in all man's great
Travels, and all of the
Wonders found, there will
Never be such a beauty
That such a peace surrounds.

Right now you do not
Understand, and you weep
For she is gone. But do
Not shed another tear
For in Heaven she lives on.
