IN HIS WISDOM THEY MUST TRUST

The day is now over
One less in which to live

Dear Love what he would give.

There were such dreams when young
As unrealistic as they may have been
But wars changed all of that
Sinful wars they had to win.

It isn't that he's sad
'Cause life has been good to him
With a loving wife who cares
And grandchildren for him to see.

Perhaps he'll have neither chance
If in heaven he will be
To fulfill these earthly dreams
Where they're all Love's celebrities.

Surely Love knows what's best
To fulfill his plans for them
They may not have been their dreams
But In His Wisdom They Must Trust.
