IF II

He can feel you near him, but are you there;
He can hear you breathing, he wishes he was your air.
If you wanted a note, but not on paper;
He would write it on his hand.
If you wanted water, he'd be your beach,
With his love written on the sand.
They say life is sweet, if only you taste it,
True love is sweeter, but too many waste it.
If he never leaves your side;
Promise to never turn away.
If he give you the moon and stars at night,
Will you give him the sun during the day.
Late at night, when all is calm, his screams aloud;
If you longed to be in heaven, then use him as your cloud.
If you were dying, and needed air,
He would be your breath.
And if your kiss, could ever take his life;
Then he looks forward to death.
If he pledges himself to you, will you promise him this;
When the end of this poem comes, the beginning you will miss.
