HIS EPITAPH

May he tell what he has learned
For what he's hoped, for what he's yearned
And may he tell what he has found
That he's not strapped, that he's not bound
And maybe tell what he has seen
What hearts he's shared, what life does mean
And maybe tell where he has been
The scars he has, the shape he's in
And maybe tell what he has done
What he's chased, and where he's run
And maybe tell what he has heard
Or what he's spoken, every word
And may he tell what he has felt
What's in a touch, that's made him melt
And maybe tell what he has held
What's caused him silence, or what he's yelled
And maybe tell who he has led
Who he's served, or what he's said
Then let him sing the world his song
Love saved him, his life goes on
