HE WANTS TO DIE TODAY

He doesn't want to live anymore today,
For he felt living just wasn't the way.
Prayed to Love to allow his soul to fly.
High, high up into the beautiful sky.

He doesn't want to live anymore today,
For the past was good, but the present hurts more than he can say.
His heart is broken and it continues to bleed;
So emotionally weak, he feels death is what he needs.

So on top of the mountain he would pray.
Wrote you a letter to tell you how he feels
For the counselor had stated that it helped to heal.

For the pain is so great and nothing is okay.
Then Love placed His hands around his broken heart as he did cry,
And said, "My child, I'm with you, please try."

So, Lord, he's trying to live today,
Because you are with him along the way.
He still cries and feels so alone,
And the pain is so great, he hurts to the bone.
