HE GAVE THEM THE BEST

Love gave them mothers to dry their tears,
And laugh with them through the years.

For their disobedience, punishment render,
And later show them her love, so tender.

Teaching them to love their neighbor,
To honor Love in all their labor.

Should someone slap their cheek, forgive,
Turn the other cheek for him.

Nurse the sick, aid the needy,
What err the need, be always ready.

From time to time mistakes she made,
But relied on Love for being so kind.

For it is He that had the plan
To give to them their love, not man!

They've been so sad since she's been gone,
Yet they have her in memory, they're never
Alone.

They praise Love as in peace she rests,
When it comes to mothers He gave them the
Very best!
